Battle Vision

In the Spirit, I saw a coming tumult, a battlefield swirling in mayhem and dust, the dirt covered in bodies and blood, cries of pain and fury echoing across the plain.

Though I knew many had gone armed into the battle, only a scant few survivors were emerging from the haze of the dust. They were walking with their hands straight up in total surrender.

I ask the Lord, “Why did they yield? Why did they surrender to the enemy? They have all dropped their swords and weapons. They are unarmed.”

He replied, “They are unharmed because they are unarmed. They did not surrender to the enemy. They heard my call that the battle belongs to the Lord and they dropped their carnal weapons and surrendered to me. This was a baptism of battle.”
